T&A Drilling and Blasting, a leader in contract mining, celebrated a milestone at the Zimbabwe CEO Network Awards by winning gold for Outstanding Organisation in Mine Supplies and Services.

Founded a decade ago, T&A has rapidly expanded in mining and construction. This year, the company won gold for Outstanding Organisation in Mine Supplies and Services, cementing its strong foothold in Zimbabwe’s mining industry.

The company’s journey mirrors Zimbabwe’s ambitions, contributing to platinum, diamond, nickel, and gold projects. T&A also supports government initiatives like road rehabilitation, crucial for Zimbabwe’s infrastructure.

T&A’s role in Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030

At the awards ceremony, T&A Managing Director Kundai Chidamba thanked Zimbabwe’s government and its Vision 2030, which aims to transform Zimbabwe into an upper-middle-income economy within six years. “We are grateful to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, whose Vision 2030 has opened avenues for indigenous entrepreneurs,” Chidamba said. “It’s our duty as young business leaders to support this vision by building the nation, brick by brick, stone by stone.”

Chidamba highlighted that the company’s work in road construction and dam projects showcases their commitment to national progress.
