President Mnangagwa appoints second Mines Minister

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Honourable Caleb Makwiranzou, MP, as the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development, focusing on oil and gas research, as well as strategic minerals exploration.

This appointment, made under Section 104, Subsection 2 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, takes effect immediately.

The appointment was announced by Dr. Martin Rushwaya, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet.
