THE Association of Mine Managers of Zimbabwe (AMMZ) will host its annual conference in Bulawayo from 21-24 November, bringing together industry leaders for discussions on mining practices and safety.
The event, set to take place at the Holiday Inn, will include a series of highlights: a technical tour of Blanket Mine on 21 November, AMMZ Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Awards, the President’s Dinner, and a Golf Day. Supported by the Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe, the conference aims to foster collaboration across the sector.
According to an AMMZ statement, the Blanket Mine tour will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform, encouraging experts to exchange insights on operational improvements and safety innovations within the mining sector.
