There is a thin line that divides mining and agriculture- both are top foreign currency earners and they share more or less same service providers.
These service providers will showcase their goods and services at the prestigious agriculture showpiece to be held this month at Pomona Farm in Harare.
Indeed, this is showpiece that mining and agriculture service providers have been waiting for.
According to statement by the organisers of ADMA Agric Show, the Three-day event will be a hive of activity.
‘The ADMA Agrishow is where all major agricultural dealers and manufacturers come together to showcase their products on offer in Zimbabwe. ADMA as an association decided it would be good idea to hold a show for their membership and to attract their specific target market ie the farming community, over a short period 2-3 days.
‘The initiative behind our Agrishow was an opportunity once a year for all Industry Players to exhibit static displays and live demonstrations of tractors and equipment, as an opportunity for our farmers to compare tractor brands, agricultural machinery and anything else a farmer would require side by side.’
They said the prestigious event will be a platform for creation of symbiotic relationships between farmers and industry players.
‘The live demonstrations would be an opportunity for the industry to promote their products, highlighting special features and cost saving advantages or concepts working on identical soil types and conditions.
As a whole the show offers a unique opportunity for farmers to build relationships with: Machinery and equipment suppliers; Fertilizer and Agrochemical companies; seed producers; Irrigation specialists; financial institutions and many more Agricultural supply companies.’
